Hi, I am taking my husband on a surprise week-end for our 20th anniversary in April to New York. He is a big Billy Crystal fun. THe show is sold out. THere are alot of places to pick up tickets at a premium.Any suggestions on where to get tickets to the show. OR which ones places are reputable. Please help. I am desperate. Also any suggestion on a good italien restaurant near the theatre district
Any sugestions where to buy Billy Crystal tickets?
Have you checked on ebay? Very often people get tickets they can%26#39;t use and sell them there. I%26#39;ve never bought any this way, but lots of others have. That said, these tickets wouldn%26#39;t be hard to sell so ....
stubhub.com is often mentioned for sports tickets. Maybe that would be a good place to try. You might also ask your hotel concierge (now).
For Italian in the theater district, there are about 50 to choose from. Here are what I would consider the best for a special meal. Check out more details on menupages.com
Cascina
Esca
Orso (very trendy, celeb spotting, hard to get a table)
Lattanzi (good, nice service)
Barbetta (probably the prettiest in a townhouse and a bit formal-most romantic)
ViceVersa

Also try craigslist.org
Have you tried www.broadway.com? They often have tickets, but at a premium. Billy%26#39;s about the hottest ticket I%26#39;ve seen in many years! I have a funny feeling his show will eventually show up as an HBO special though.
My family and I got 4 tickets on the day they went onsale (Feb 6).Iwas on hold for 2 hours but great seats but at a premium--$176.00 a piece so you do the math.E-bay is probally your best bet and thats going to be at least $300 a piece.
Another thought I had is trying applause-tickets.com They have them for $199/ticket
I am mad about Billy Crystal, and was happy to shell out $100 to see him, but I guess my love does have limits. I wouldn%26#39;t pay $150+.
I just checked E-Bay--2 tickets for about 450.00--not the best seats but thats not bad
My husband and I saw Billy Crystal in January - the show was fantastic, we were staying at the Doubletree Metropolitan, we asked the concierge to get us tickets, we paid $ 190 a ticket, the seats were upstairs, but we had a good view.
if you have no luck with brokers you can always go to the venue and hope you luck into a couple of tickets there out on the street. If people don%26#39;t sell them online, that%26#39;s where the end up.
