Salisbury area must sees including eats?

Okay switched from embassy/financial dist. to Salisbury Hotel we are family of 4 (2 adults %26amp; children ages 7 %26amp; 4). The reviews are pretty good so not too nervous about choice. Wondering about must sees including restaurants %26amp; sights? Arriving 3/4-3/7.

The great thing about The Salisbury is its location. You have a subway station at each end of the block with Columbus Circle only 2 blocks further away. Consequently the whole of Manhattan is at your mercy! Must sees for us were: walking over Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, ditto Empire State Building, the Cloisters, Ground Zero/St Paul%26#39;s Chapel.

Great places to eat? We liked D J Reynolds (351 W 57th Street), Angelo%26#39;s Pizza (next door but one) and we could/should have visited the Carnegie Deli and The Boathouse but time or the wallet did not allow. Shelleys is opposite the hotel and the Red Eye grill just around the corner - they both come highly recommended.
