question 4 voyagereuse or bettina
I don%26#39;t understand why all the seafood restaurants are so darned expensive!!
The best mid-priced seafooder is Redeye Grill, on 7th Ave. at 56th St.
Lots of people like Blue Fin, on Broadway %26amp; 47th, but I%26#39;m not a big fan.

One general note about seafood. If you are here on a Monday, that is usually not the best day to order fish in a restaurant. According to the book, Kitchen Confidential, on Mondays you%26#39;ll get what didn%26#39;t sell from the previous Friday.
For something a little different, there is a greek restaurant called Molyvos that does very interesting seafood dishes. In Rockefeller Plaza, there%26#39;s Joseph%26#39;s Citarella.
The Redeye Grill is good as is another restaurant by the same owner, called Shelly%26#39;s New York.
Although these will set you back about $25 or more an entree, they are good. To lessen the pain you can always try having lunch as your main meal. It%26#39;s usually less expensive and the food is as good.
One of the best lunch bargains is the $20 prix fixe at Jean Georges, located in the Trump International Building. There is seafood on that menu, and the price is totally right.
Check out all of the above for menues/prices/locations on menupages.com.
There are moderate priced fish places, just not in midtown where rents are so high. Try the new BLT Fish at 17 st b/w 5th-6th. I%26#39;ve heard raves. Mary%26#39;s Fish Camp in the village

is funky and good. Pearl Oyster Bar is another in the village.
