My husband and I will be in ny from 3/5 to 3/12 . We are looking

for the biggest bang for our ';$'; Is the 7 day pass worth the money?

I%26#39;m assuming you%26#39;re referring to the 7-day Metro card for the subways. Absolutely worth it if you plan to be visiting lots of attractions by subway--the best way to travel. However, be advised that it was just announced that the cost is being raised from $21 to $24. I believe it%26#39;s effective immediately.

I agree, absolutely worth it.....the best deal in town.

No question - even at $24. Don%26#39;t forget you can use it on the subway, the buses and even the Roosevelt Island Tram. We stayed a week and it must have paid for itself 3 times over!

OK it gets you there faster but you do see so much more on the buses.

we only used the subway a couple of times much prefering the buses

$3 a day for unlimited bus and subway transportation! If you took only one ride a day it would be a bargain. I always buy the ticket, even for 4-5 day trips. The rate is going up to (I think) $24 soon, still a great buy. Check the mta website for further details. Be sure to get a subway map to help plan your individual journeys. Sometimes it%26#39;s better to use bus + subway in some combination, even on a single journey.

indicates where you can buy it.
