What is the situation with taking children into bars in New York ? What licensing restrictions are there ? Are they permitted but only under certain conditions like in the UK ?
New York bars and childrenChildren are not allowed in bars. There may be some dance clubs that allow 18+, but they%26#39;ll require you to have a special bracelet/stamp/ID-ing mark to show you are not allowed to drink alcohol.
(By the way, someone chime in if I%26#39;m completely wrong here. This answer is just coming from observation of the ';No persons under 21 allowed'; signs.)
New York bars and childrenIf the bar serves food children are allowed in if accompanied by an adult. But the food has to be more than crisps and pretzels on the bar.
