Beauty and the Beast

After much researching, we have decided to see Beauty and the Beast. It is at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre on 205 W. 46th Street. If you have been to this theatre, please advise the best seating for under $100 and the best place to buy tickets. I really don%26#39;t want to stand in line at the TKTS booth. Thanks.

Check discounts at www.broadwaybox.com

If you don%26#39;t want to go that route, go to www.playbill.com, join for free, print out the discount coupon and purchase the tickets directly at the box office when you arrive. THey also will have the seating chart for the theatre.....on the left side, go to Broadway and you will see a listing of all shows, click onto Beauty %26amp; the Beast and you will get all of the pertinent information.

Also, www.theatermania.com is another source for discount coupons, join for free, also.

Do I have to worry about it being sold out at the box office? We will be going on March 28,29 or 30. Thanks so much.

Probably not, but you never know.

Try purchasing them through broadway box then, this way you are assured of seats.

Thanks. I have one more request. Since this will be our first trip to NY, we will be arriving Sunday, March 27th around 7-8 pm, staying at the Travel Inn at 515 W 42nd St. Can you suggest a place for dinner, not too expensive, but says..THIS IS NEW YORK!

Some of the experts on this site recommend Joe Allen, on W 46th Street between 8th %26amp; 9th, a real NYC experience. I have eaten there and the food is reasonable and very good. Make a reservation at www.opentable.com. It is an easy walk from your hotel, I think you will enjoy it.

You can check the menu at www.menupages.com.

Thanks. That sounds great. You%26#39;ve been so helpful.

I went to www.opentable.com and couldn%26#39;t find Joe Allen%26#39;s in the list. Help!

I checked also, must not be a participating restaurant.

You could call them @ 212-581-6464 or fax them @212-265-3383.

What about a good sandwich place? Hot dog? Just kind of a quick meal, then back to the hotel and rest so we can get ready to explore Monday morning.

There is a sandwich shop called Big Apple Cafe %26amp; Deli on W 42 St between 8th %26amp; 9th, near your hotel. That might fit the bill.

Otherwise, walk to Times Square and you will see many places for a quick fix! Believe me, you won%26#39;t starve!

Have a great time, and if you need more into, just post, others will respond, too.

As for me, can%26#39;t sleep, normally would not be on at 2:24 AM!!!
