Best way to get from Newark to Belvedere Hotel.

Hey guys, I need input on what would be the best way to transfer from the Newark airport to the Belvedere Hotel. I tried to talk to my husband about the train/taxi option, but he thinks a taxi is better. Basically, what is the best value for your money?

Book in advance for a car and driver. Newark cabs are iffy. A car service based in Manhattan is your best bet.

We took a cab from outside the airport to the Belvedere and had no problems. It wasn%26#39;t pre-booked. The controller at the taxi stand took our destination details, gave us a fixed price and all we had to pay was the toll and tip the driver. The traffic was quite bad as it was saturday around 7pm, I think it came in total to $75, I think the set price was around $50, $6 for toll and the rest a tip. So not sure what mamababoo meant about Newark cabs being iffy - ours was fine.
