Hotel QT?

I%26#39;ll be in NYC in mid April and have reservations at the new Hotel QT on West 45th Street across from the Millennium Broadway. I have not paid for the room and reservations can be canceled up to 48 hours before check-in.

Since the hotel is new and still in the process of opening, I can%26#39;t find any reviews of the hotel.

Can any of the New Yorkers who regularly post on this form tell me anything about this hotel?

锟斤拷ber hotelier Andre Balazs is hard at work on a new property, Hotel QT, scheduled to open in the Times Square area at an unspecified date early this year. Aimed at style-seeking guests on a budget, this venture will differ from Balazs锟斤拷锟絪 other pricier lodgings: the hip Standards (two in L.A., one in Miami), Ch锟斤拷teau Marmont (L.A.), The Raleigh Hotel (Miami) and The Mercer (New York). The Hotel QT will feature check-in via a self-service, ATM-type kiosk, and accommodations will include hostel-style rooms with four bunks each锟斤拷锟絜ach bunk will come with its own flat-screen TV. Paying tribute to traditional bathhouse culture, the lobby will house a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, which can be spied on from the bar. Rates will start under $100, with 25% discounts for those under 25. I am staying there March 17th for the weekend. I%26#39;ll let you know what it%26#39;s like. The hotel insists it%26#39;s fully open but as of yet no photographs are available.
