I%26#39;m hoping to book with priceline and need to choose a NY district for accommodation.
This is the category; Downtown/Soho, Midtown East, Midtown South, Midtown West, Upper East Side, Upper midtown-Central Park south, Upper Westside.
Where would you encourage three girls who want to head out on the town to stay? I%26#39;ve heard Soho/tribeca is great (is that Downtown financial/Soho?). We don%26#39;t intend to go to a show or shop but want to go for dinner and try a few bars. Where would the village fall in the above categories for instance?
Where would you tell three gorgeous 29 year girls olds to stay? Two of which are very single and will relish the opportunity to emulate S and the City!!
What district should we stay in NY??
SOHO is the place for you. SOHO stands for South Of Houston st. It is right on the southern edge of the village, where you will find most of the bars and night life your looking for. Try walking Bleeker st. Lots of people watching. A quick subway ride will get you to midtown, where you will find all the shopping you could ask for.

I think midtown and down through SoHo, Tribeca and into the Village might provide you with areas you would like. Check this website for specific hotels and bars. Everyone will help.
Hello Irishinil, try to get a hotel in the West Village, The Washington Square Hotel is reasonable and nice, rooms are small tho but that%26#39;s not unusual. Beware of Hotels that are in Financial district/Downtown/Tribeca as these parts of town can be DEAD after 5pm and are far from the nightlife, unless you know exactly where to go. The West village is most likely to fall into the Downtown/Soho category at a stretch.
Unless you can pick your hotel or narrow the district, i wouldn%26#39;t go with Priceline, who knows where you%26#39;ll end up.
