Tickets for show how far in advance?

Hi there

I have been trying to see what shows will be showing end of september when I am planning my trip to NYC.

The broadway.com site when i put in date ranges keeps coming up error.

Where can i find out what shows will be playing in september?

I would really like to know what will be showing.

Hair spray sounds good, as does wicked from what i have read. will these shows still be on?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try www.broadwaybox.com.

www.playbill.com will give you all of the info on the shows,when they open, if they are an ';open'; run, meaning they will play until they no longer sell enough tickets to sustain it, and when they close, if it is a limited run or its initial run is coming to an end. On the left side click onto Broadway and you will see a listing of shows currently playing,and those opening soon. You can join for free.

You will not get discount tickets for Wicked at this time, the show is hot and looks to stay that way, so I suggest purchasing them now at full price. Hairspray is offered on discounts, but it might be too much in advance, keep looking.

Shows open %26amp; close all of the time, but the ';hot'; shows should still be open in September.

If you%26#39;re getting an error message, it%26#39;s because they%26#39;re not ticketing that far ahead. September is two Broadway seasons away, so you%26#39;ve got plenty of time. Lots of new shows will be opening in the next couple of months, and another crop in the fall. Browse the Broadway listings on www.playbill.com. Their site is also a good source of news, as is www.broadway.com.
