I am travelling to nyc on wed but am not sure what is the best types of clothes to bring. is it snowy/ rainy there at the moment?

We had temps ranging from -8C up to +13C while we were there last week. Layers esential, include the hat to cover ears, scarf and gloves, so you can peel off as needed. Most places indoors were overly warm whatever the outside temp, so don%26#39;t forget to take something to carry your shed layers in. Packable raincoats to go over warm outside clothing worked better than umbrellas particularly in the crowds.

Great advice from Pat, as the weather this time of year is very changeable, from warm to frigid, from rain to snowstorms, so just be prepared %26amp; you will be fine.

Don%26#39;t forget those comfortable shoes, most important!!!!!

Bring layers. Including silk long-johns, hat, gloves and leather boots. Be prepared to strip off layers as the weather changes. And if you don%26#39;t have exactly what you need to deal with the changing weather, have a little fun a go shopping.

I would just add....don%26#39;t forget comfortable WATERPROOF/resistant shoes. Galoshes might be helpful too.

Reminder: if it snows/rains....watch out for clueless cars splashing pooled water! I saw a poor guy get thoroughly doused!
