Greenwich Village

Hi Everyone this is a question for all the helpful New Yorkers. We have the chance to stay in a Studio at Bleecker Street over Christmas and New Year and were wondering what the area is like. Would it be better than staying at the Belvedere? Thanks in advance for your help.

Greenwich Village

Bleecker St. is a great area. Would it be better than the Belvedere? It depends on the apt. and what kind of travelers you are. The Belvedere is in the theater district so if you plan on doing a lot of theater, it%26#39;s more convenient. Do you like having hotel services (ie daily maid, a front desk/concierge). What is the price difference?

Thanks for your quick reply ny whiz and nice to see you back! I noticed lots of people asking where you had gone. You helped us out a lot last year before our 1st great trip in November! The price difference would be 锟斤拷300 so its quite a bit. We like quiet places to stay, dont need lots of people running after us!! Just another question where would you go for Christmas Dinner given the choice? I am really excited I dont have to cook it this year! :-)

Sorry that was three hundred pounds, nearly six hundred dollars.

The studio apt is 300 pounds cheaper??? Please tell us about it. Where exactly is it. Through whom would you be renting it etc.

Where would I go for Christmas dinner??? The River Cafe would be memorable. If you%26#39;re staying on Bleecker St., there are lots of cozy options. Blue Hill and Home are 2 in that area.

The company is called metro home.com. The studio is on the south side of the street between Sullivan and Thompson Street. We were quoted a weekly rate of 1050 dollars for the week extra days being prorated. I worked it out at 1360 dollars as it says there is no sales tax on 1 week or more stays. We are going for ten days and the Belvedere have told us the stay would be 1986 dollars. When i done currency converter it worked out 300 pounds cheaper to stay in studio apt. Thanks for advice on meal will look into it.
